I Requirements for welding workpieces: 

1. Workpiece diameter: 370~350 MM
2.  Workpiece length: 700-1200MM

II Machine features: 
1.Basic structure:
1.1 The welding torch is fixed, the workpiece rotates, and the welding position is horizontal. One end of the workpiece is clamped and rotated by the power head, and the other end is pneumatically tightened. l
1.2.Using a single welding torch and a single power source, improve work efficiency and reduce welding distortion.
1.3 The machine is equipped with high voltage, slow wire feeding and arc starting to ensure reliable arc starting. And low voltage, low current arc closing to filling arc crater. l
1.4 Manual loading and unloading is adopted, and the welding process is automatically completed. l
1.5 The welding torch, Spindle box and tailstock are adjustable along the longitudinal direction, which is suitable for various welding.
1.6 Using PC to control the operation of the whole machine, AC frequency conversion speed regulation, improve equipment reliability.

III Equipment composition:
The Machine is composed of  machine body ,a fuselage, electric deceleration power head, pneumatic rear tailstock, workpiece fixture and the conductive mechanism, the welding torch fixture, adjustment and pneumatic lifting mechanism,the welding torch swing mechanism,electric control system, a welding power supply and the pneumatic system.
3.1 Machine Body is composed of the base, a gantry beam, etc. The base is welded with steel square tube and plate. and the machine body plane is arranged guide rail. The power head is installed on the right side of the guide rail, and the pneumatic tailstock is installed on the left side. The power head and pneumatic tailstock are adjustable along the guide rails, and their spacing can be changed to meet the welding requirements of different varieties.
3.2 Power head: The rotating head is composed of AC motor, reducer, workpiece fixture and conductive sleeve. The speed adjustment is realized by adjusting the speed of the AC motor by an AC frequency converter. The reducer adopts two-stage worm gear to reduce speed, aluminum alloy shell, large output torque, easy installation and maintenance.
3. 3 Welding torch clamping adjustment and pneumatic lifting mechanism: It is fixed on the beam and moved up and down by the cylinder to realize the conversion between preparation and welding stations. The welding torch, wire feeder and welding wire reel are fixed in position and lifted together with the cylinder. Pneumatic lifting is guided by linear bearings and guide posts, with high positioning accuracy. The two welding torch are respectively adjustable along the cross beam guide rail , and can be fine adjustment from up and down, left and right, forward and backward, angle degree. The fine adjustment of the welding torch adopts the dovetail form, and the screw adjustment is used to make the adjustment accurate and high positioning accuracy. It can be tightened after adjustment.
3.4 Welding torch swing
The welding torch swings to meet the width of the welding seam. Driven by a stepping motor, guided by a guide rail, and driven by a lead screw, it drives the welding torch to swing to meet the requirements of the welding seam.
3.5 Pneumatic tailstock: The tailstock is pneumatically fix the workpiece, guided by the guide rail, and the tailstock tooling rotates along with it.
3.6 Support Bracket: Guided by the guide post, the universal ball holder is manually adjustable up and down. Realize the role of auxiliary loading and unloading.
3.7 Electric control system: l
3.7.1  Composed of PLC ,HMI ,solenoid valve, cylinder, triplet and pipeline, etc., used to control workpiece clamping and welding torch up and down. The pneumatic components are all famous brand products.
3.7.2  The host uses the Japanese PLC machine as the control core to control the execution of loading and unloading, clamping and all welding procedures. The system has good stability, simple structure and easy maintenance.
3.7.3 The rotation of the workpiece controled by the Japanese Panasonic variable frequency speed regulator, and the AC motor is used to change the motor speed by adjusting the frequency. Low failure rate, suitable for long-term use. l
3.7.4 Using the HMI touch screen as the input and output interface, welding length, arc initiation time and other parameters can be input through the interface. Automatically detect the welding starting point and automatically return to the original position after welding. l
